On September 30, we observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Students are encouraged to wear an orange shirt on this day to honour Survivors of residential schools.
Please note: Grade 9 - 12 examinations and Rich Summative Tasks (RSTs) WILL NOT be rescheduled for holiday or travel convenience, and all appointments should be scheduled so as not to conflict with exams and RSTs. If a medical problem arises, a Vice-Principal must be contacted prior to the exam or RST.
The dates for RSTs differ from class to class, but in general, they mostly take place at the end of each semester. The exam dates for first semester are January 21 to 28 and second semester are June 17 to 23.
Our first meeting will take place at 7:00 pm on September 21, 2026 in the Learning Commons of the school. At this meeting, we will be electing the Catholic School Council executive for 2026/27. All are welcome and we hope you can join us! For those who would like to join virtually, please complete this form.
On Parent/Teacher Conference days, students will be dismissed early to allow teachers to prepare for meetings with parents. Those days are:
Thursday, October 15, 2026
Wednesday, November 19, 2026
Thursday, February 18, 2027
Thursday, March 24, 2027
Please note that OC Transpo cannot accommodate the early dismissal. Students who take OC Transpo will be dismissed early; however, they will have to wait until normal dismissal time for transportation.
Please use the area indicated by white arrows for student drop off / pick up at the beginning and end of day.
STUDENT DROP OFF/PICK UP
As is the case with most schools, there is A LOT of traffic around the school at the beginning and end of the day. The designated drop-off area is found at the East end of the parking lot (see the white arrows in the picture on the left). The parking area directly in front of the school is designated for special transportation pick-up and drop-off. The bus loop is reserved for yellow buses only. Please do not turn into the staff parking area.
Drop-offs or pick-ups in the no stopping zones found along Kanata Avenue can result in dangerous situations. Bylaw has ticketed in the past. We encourage all community members to adhere to the street signage posted. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
