Christmas Hamper Program

It is time for our Annual “All Saints Christmas Hamper Program!”  Once again, we have teamed up with our sister school St. Elizabeth, for our Advent project which will help families in the community.

We have a Christmas Tree in the atrium decorated with lovely angels made by the Arts & Crafts class. Each angel represents a family we are helping this year. Each family’s particular situation this Christmas is different. Maybe they are new Canadians needing winter clothing, perhaps they’ve had a personal hardship (death, illness, etc.) this year and need assistance, or possibly one of the parents or main providers for the family has been laid off. Each family is different and each adoption is different, but for your child’s homeroom, the experience is the same…  HUGE rewards and joy knowing that they are doing something to share the true spirit of Christmas.

Each student is asked to sign up to donate one or more food items from the list their class was given.  Along with the food items, students and/or their families are encouraged to make a donation to contribute to the purchase of gifts for their adopted family members.

This year you have the choice of sending in a donation with your child or making a donation on-line by going to the school website and clicking on the School Cash On-Line link in the top left corner.

Our goal is to have all of the items collected and brought in by Monday, December 8th as the hampers will be delivered on Thursday, December 11th and Friday, December 12th.

If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Abrams at 613-271-4254 ext. 233

We appreciate your generosity and support as the students of All Saints put our school Board theme “Restore One Another in a Spirit of Gentleness” into practice.

With Sincerest Thanks,
The Hamper Committee
